The contact details are conveniently situated on the right side of the listing, ensuring easy accessibility. Caravan Camping Classifieds recommends email as the preferred method of initial contact.

Filling out our simple contact form with your name sends an email on your behalf to the seller and ensures a response. 


Phone Contact:

Phone numbers are partially hidden to prevent bots and scammers from scraping details from Caravan Camping Classifieds.
To reveal a number, simply click directly on the phone number listed. This option is beneficial for those who prefer direct and immediate communication. 

 

Chat:

Our chat feature allows user-user messages, normally utilised for quick questions or clarifications. For instance, if you have a specific question about the caravan’s specifications, you can initiate a chat for a prompt response.

 

Once you have located the contact information, it’s as simple as a couple of clicks and then you’ll be on your way to acquiring a new caravan!

Security Measures

Ensuring the security of caravan, camper trailer, or motorhome listings, requires user account registration. CCC provides a secure and cost-effective registration process to safeguard user information.

Registration Process:

  1. 1) Locate the Register Button positioned on the right-hand side of the page.
     
  1. 2) Complete the prompted details, ensuring to accept the mandatory Privacy Policy. Click “register” to finalise the registration process.
Note:
    1. Username:

   – Must be alphanumeric and unique.

   – If the initially selected username is unavailable, try alternative iterations or combinations.

      1. First and Last Name:

   – Provide your given and surname for a personalized profile.

      1. E-mail:

   – Choose a monitored email.

   – Ensure it’s an email address where you are comfortable receiving communications from both buyers and sellers.

      1. Password:

   – Create a strong password with a minimum of 8 characters.

   – Include a mix of numbers, letters, and special symbols (!@#$%,./\).

   – Never share your password with anyone. In case of any requests, please contact us directly.

3) Flesh out your profile – the more detailed the more likely your profile will be viewed as a trusted profile. 

 

This thorough registration process not only ensures security but also establishes a trustworthy environment for users engaging in caravan-related transactions.

Step 1: Find the Compare Button

To compare multiple RVs or caravans, you can click the Compare button on the listings.

 

  •  – On Listing Cards:
    At the bottom of each RV or caravan listing card, you’ll find the Compare button.

 

  •  – On the Listing Page:
    While viewing the full details of a listing, the Compare button can also be found in the sidebar.

Step 2: Add Listings to Compare

After clicking the Compare button on at least two listings, a popup window will appear at the bottom of your screen, indicating that the listings are ready for comparison.

Step 3: View the Comparison

On the comparison screen, you will see up to two listings displayed side by side. For each listing, you’ll find:

 

  •  – Images of the RV or caravan
  •  – Key details like price, make, model, and features

 

If you’ve added more than two RVs or caravans to compare, you can scroll left and right to view additional listings.

 

 

Additional Notes:

  •  – You can remove a listing from the comparison at any time by clicking the X button on the comparison page or on the listing itself.

 

  •  – You can lock a listing in place by clicking Lock Column This will keep that caravan / RV in place as you swap left and right on the compare page.

Listing Management

At Caravan Camping Classifieds prides ourselves on our seamless and affordable listings. We operate on a flat fee structure without any hidden costs.

Account Security Requirements:

In order to uphold the security of Caravan Camping Classifieds and its patrons, it is imperative to either create a new account or log in before initiating the listing process.

Step-by-Step Guide to Listing:

1) Either click the Sell Your Caravan button or Navigate to My Listings (see below)

Click on the user profile button to access your account.

Select My Listings from the dropdown menu.

Scroll down to find and click on the Add Listing option.

2) Provide Comprehensive Details

Fill out all the details of your listing.

The more comprehensive and detailed your listing information, the greater the likelihood of attracting interested parties.

Click “Add Listing” to finalize the process.

3) Select Appropriate Listing Package:

Choose an appropriate package that suits your listing needs.

Confirm the details of your listing.

4) Complete Package Purchase:

Proceed to purchase your selected package securely.

Once the purchase has been successfully processed, your listing will be promptly published for potential buyers to explore.

By following these steps, you not only ensure a hassle-free listing experience but also contribute to the security of the CCC platform. Detailed listings not only attract potential buyers but also enhance the overall user experience within the CCC community.

After successfully creating your listing and processing the payment, your listing is expected to appear promptly. However, in certain instances, there might be a brief delay in the finalisation of the listing. If, after a period of four hours, your listing has not yet been published, we recommend reaching out to us through our contact form for further assistance. Our team is readily available to address any concerns and ensure a smooth and timely publication of your listing.

 

After successfully selling your listed item, it is crucial to remove the listing to avoid further inquiries. If a listing is not deleted, potential buyers may continue to inquire about the already sold item. It’s important to note that once a listing is deleted, the action is permanent and cannot be reversed.

 

To remove your listing, follow these steps:

1) Log in to your account.

 

2) Navigate to the “My Listings” section.

 

3) Scroll down to locate the specific listing you want to delete.


4) Select the “Delete” option and confirm the deletion in the subsequent prompt. An additional window will appear to confirm the successful deletion of your listing.

 

By following these instructions, you ensure that your sold item is no longer visible on the platform, preventing any confusion or unnecessary inquiries from potential buyers.

Protecting Yourself Online

In today’s digital age, the convenience of placing online ads for vehicle sales is undeniable, with platforms similar Caravan Camping Classifieds, offering efficient avenues for buyers and sellers. The ease of providing comprehensive vehicle descriptions and adding photos contributes to the effectiveness of these platforms. However, while the benefits are evident, it is essential to exercise caution to safeguard yourself, your sale, and your money.

1) Limit Personal Information

Avoid discussing bank details online

Keep your residential address private initially; disclose it only to serious buyers.

 

2) Communication Caution

Use phone calls to discuss transaction details and avoid anonymity often associated with scam emails.

 

3) Clear Sale Conditions

Clearly agree on vehicle condition, payment terms, price, pick-up date, and inclusions before finalizing any deals or payments.

 

4) Secure Payment Methods

Cash or bank cheque is recommended for payment.

Exercise caution with fund transfers and be wary of unknown financial lenders.

5) Seller’s Responsibility

Disclose any relevant information about the vehicle upfront.

Accompany the buyer to the bank when accepting a personal cheque for a guarantee of clearance.

 

6) Buyer’s Due Diligence

Have the vehicle checked by a trusted mechanic.

Research the title and status of the vehicle to avoid purchasing stolen or encumbered vehicles.

 

7) Question and Verify Details

Ask questions about vehicle history, inspect paperwork thoroughly, and ensure confidence in your purchase.

 

8) Avoid Scams

Be cautious of online payments or disclosing personal details.

Never accept payment exceeding the selling price, as it may be a scam.

 

9) In-Person Transactions

If possible, both buyers and sellers should attend inspections and transactions in the company of a trusted friend or relative.

 

10) Document and Verify

Ensure you receive all agreed-upon paperwork, keys, and accessories immediately after the financial transaction.

 

11) Grammar and Spelling

Be cautious but not dismissive of emails with poor grammar; it could be a legitimate buyer.

 

12) Avoid Bank Wire Services

Steer clear of using bank wire services for payment, as they are often challenging to trace.
