New caravans launching & more at Melbourne Leisurefest, our pre-show guide

The Melbourne Caravan and Camping Leisurefest, hosted at Sandown Racecourse from September 18-21, has always been a favourite, but this year the atmosphere is electric. Manufacturers are rolling out their new caravans and RVs for 2025 with greater force than ever before. From innovative slide-outs and off-grid power systems to complete model facelifts, this is your ultimate guide to every major release you can’t afford to miss at the show.

Royal Flair’s New Designer Series slide-out

If you’re a fan of Royal Flair RVs you’ll find them at the Victorian RV Sales and Royal Flair at stand 515– for the first time at an industry hosted show. Among them, Royal Flair’s 19ft 6in 2025 Designer Series slide-out. 

Victorian RV Sales will unveil mid-release updates for Viscount at stand 504 and Design RV at stand 505 boasting new specifications, decals–plus new interior designs, always a strong point for both brands. 

JB Caravans unveils the Gator X Limited Edition

At Melbourne Leisurefest, stand 12, JB Caravans will be showcasing the Dirt Road Extreme 23’6 with the innovative forward-facing centre bathroom helping to turn the master bedroom into a second space to lounge. 

The layout innovation continues in the special edition Gator X 18’ LE earning campers more space in the kitchen–thanks to a nifty trick of positioning the L-shape lounge campsite side. 

NOVA’s reimagined Terra Sportz for 2026

At stand 20, catch NOVA’s reimagined Terra Sportz for 2026–a major anniversary year for the marque. 

All new tapware, upholstery design around the queen bed and dinette, switched up storage and stylish panelling feature throughout. While outdoors you can expect to see new decals, more checkerplate and cool comforts under the awning including a comprehensive entertainment hatch.

X Series releases ‘the biggest surprise’ for Canterbury Caravans

It will be a big week for Canterbury Caravans, who will be manning no less than four stands at Melbourne Leisurefest: Highclere at stand 415, Phoenix at stand 507, Sunland at stand 517 and at stand 414, X Series RV.

So far we’ve confirmed that new model Phoenix and Sunland caravans will be on display, with the X Series RV delivering “the biggest surprise”. 

All new lineup & bold facelifts from Urban Group

You’ll find lots of new stuff in store from the Urban Group at stand 17C in the Touring Hub including the launch of an all new SKT Signature Series. PLUS Bold external facelifts across the Tuff, X-Terrain and the X-Treme X series. Disc brakes are now standard on the X-Terrain.

More solar is slated across the board for the Group’s Vivid Caravans line-up, that’s expanding to include a new model, the Vivid Voyager, riding on an alloy-steel hybrid chassis, 400Ah lithium battery & a 3000W inverter.

The Platinum RV range gets TWO new models, a fully off-grid 24V setup with an OGO composting toilet — and new composite construction.

11 new power products on the Arizon (stand) for Canopies, 4WD and More

For months Arizon has hinted at a major unveiling, with 11 new products being rolled out ahead of the Melbourne Leisurefest, ready for display at stand 103. Among them, solutions for canopy and 4WD dual cabs–and an all new caravan power system.

More New Jayco Models for its 50th Year

Continuing its 50th year celebrations, Jayco assured us during our Aussie Made party last week that we can–in the very least–expect to see more new models at stand 7 with Page Bros RV.

The All-New New Age Fiat Campervan

If you’re looking for something easy and fun for weekend adventures, New Age will have its gorgeous Campervan on show on a Fiat Ducato long-wheel base available for a competitive price at stand 16.

Off-grid Innovations from OzX Corp and Mountain Trail

If you’re off-grid curious, Mountain Trail RV’s unveiling a nifty off-grid power customisation at stand 105 co-developed with the OzX Corp team. 

Retreat’s new Touring Range

At the Escape RV extended stand 13, keep an eye out for the brand new range from Retreat at 13C, the Whistsunday Macquarie Edition, targeted to the touring lifestyle caravanner and “made with all the luxuries in mind.”

And for those couples who like mid-van comforts in nimbler dimensions, you’ll find the new 186C floorplan riding comfortably on twin axles.

Escape RV will also have the newly-awarded Masterpiece Optimum Director’s Edition at 13A.

Goldstream RV Makes Big Moves with up-sized Full-Size Vans

Capitalising on a successful response to a special build created for the Nowra, Goldstream RV is unveiling three full size caravans at stand 401, including a 20ft layout along with two truss chassis models in a 19 and 22ft, the latter featuring a club lounge. 

All three feature Goldstream RV’s newest fibreglass exterior.

Titanium Ti22 WS1 & TS1 on Show

A few weeks ago, Titanium invited the public to witness the unveiling of two all new models, the Ti22t WS1 a square van with a full height interior front to rear and the Toy Hauler, with a roof and ramp panels designed to keep the exterior.
