Holidaymakers have a new option for self-drive camping with the launch of the New Age Fiat Ducato Campervan at the Melbourne Caravan and Camping Leisurefest at Sandown Racecourse, Sep 18-21–one of many exciting new RVs debuting (see our pre-show report).
Built on the Fiat Ducato long-wheel base with four seatbelts, the New Age Campervan brings smart styling to the versatile 8-speed 132kW/430Nm diesel, with touches like a white panelled ceiling, light timber-look bench-tops and subway-style splashbacks.
Get off-grid with 400W Solar & Grey Water Storage
Key off-grid features include grey and freshwater tanks, a 400W solar array up top and 400Ah Enerdrive lithium battery/2kW inverter system. These elements, combined with the internal shower and toilet combination ensuite, deep black matt kitchen sink, 105L Thetford compressor fridge and a glass cooktop with twin gas hobs ensure the New Age Campervan adheres to the CMCA Self Contained Policy.
To optimise the interiors, the New Age Campervan makes full use of swivelling driver and front passenger seats, which turn towards the adjacent dinette table and second row passenger seats.
