Cool Beans Campers – This Beauty’s a Beast
Kissing the blacktop goodbye? Shred no tears with Cool Beans Campers
If a hasty escape appeals, a gorgeous teardrop can quickly get you out on the road but what if you’re dreaming further afield? The Cool Beans Off Road could be what you’re looking for.
Teardrop unleashed
A stylish, hardy teardrop that’s hand-made with love, the Cool Beans Off Road sports the right aerodynamics for rougher roads and well-formed dirt and gravel.
All terrain tyres and mags, Rhino Racks, a full-length stoneguard, heavy-duty chassis and off-road suspension give it an edge off the tarmac: “It has more clearance than the average Landcruiser and because they’re so small they just fly behind,” explains Josh McLernong co-founder and marketing manager for Cool Beans Campers.
“It’s by far our most popular product, outselling our Retro 9 to 1.”
Lithium Batteries
Quality is the mainstay. “We only use marine-grade products. The hatch on top is marine-grade so there’s no dust and water ingress. Everything is top of the range,” says Josh.
Within their lithe dimensions, Cool Beans Campers feature a 60L Engel fridge-freezer, 1.5m bench, drawer storage, grey and freshwater storage plus a stainless steel sink and fittings.
And with state-of-the-art tech like the iTechworld lithium battery system included, Cool Beans Campers has wooed its fair share of caravanning enthusiasts seeking an easy-to-store and easy-to-tow campsite companion that expands with awnings and annexes at camp.
Award winning
Notably, the Cool Beans campers certainly hit the sweet spot among industry peers, earning ‘Best New Product’ on its launch at the Perth Royal Show in 2019 and again at the Perth Caravan & Camping Show, before taking out the Judges Award, notably for its build quality.
But its biggest fans are the growing Cool Beans Camper community, which come together annually. Just gone February, co-founders Josh and Wade joined enthusiasts on a convoy with more than 30 Cool Beans Campers on tow from Freo to Dwellingup.
“We covered the whole of Fremantle; it was like the wacky races, with Cool Bean Campers everywhere,” laughs Josh.
