Innovators Urban Caravans brought the pudding to Tough Tested 2024, powered by NCE, GUSTO and Vantec, with their alloy-framed Tungsten X-Treme riding atop of a tall performance chassis with tough, lightweight alloy crossbeams.
This refined 18ft 6in couples layout exudes modern styling with lumbar support on the upholstery and matt gold trimmings contrasting against a charcoal palette celebrating all the drama and vibrance of the Aussie outback.
Off-grid, this prototype sports 24V power offering the equivalent to 1200Ah @12V in battery storage, supported by 800W of solar on an efficient solar rack–inspiring the X-Treme X spec!

About the Tungsten X-Treme (X)
This Tungsten X-Treme inspired Urban’s new Tungsten X-Treme X off-road, off-grid specification sporting a 24V power system that’s equivalent to 1200Ah in power. This specification normally rides on the 3 stage TerraGlide airbag suspension but Urban chose to test out the Cruisemaster ATX airbag system with M46 dampers with overflow chambers, available on customer request.
