Traveller Caravans Are Back for 2025 – Light, Tough & Affordable!
Heritage brand Traveller returns for 2025, delivering lightweight towing and tough fibreglass construction at yesteryear’s prices
Now’s an exciting time for first-time buyers or for those of us stepping into a first new van. With astute manufacturers extending once-exclusive fabrication techniques to the broader RVing community. We’re also seeing diverse layouts and styles elevating standards across the board–exquisitely executed in the reimagined heritage Traveller brand for 2025.
Notably, the new Traveller Caravans Destination line-up crafted by the New Age team offers a fully-insulated fibreglass body with front, rear and roof single panel construction standard.
The result? Sharp pricing points, fuel-saving towing weights, modern fabrication and a dose of riverside cred with a quiet emphasis on ‘breaking bread’ for the savvy couple.

Tough & light Enduro X coils
Traveller runs four layouts in the landmark Destination 2025 release–ranging between 13ft-20ft–available in two specification packs, the on-road Cruise and semi off-road Track for handling corrugations packaged with a greater off-grid spec. Both packs ride on an AL-KO 6in chassis and suspension; the Track equipped with coil-sprung Enduro X sporting twin shocks and stone-coated clamshell arms. It’s a tough performer engineered to keep a lid on weight, helping Traveller maintain decent starting-from Tares ranging between 1760kg to 2320kg for the 20fter.
We were particularly excited to see the Traveller Destination Track 17fter, too, a straight up charmer retailing from $74,990 with Traveller’s stunning outdoor pantry and TV hatch combo for happy hours casting out with tall tales, cheeses and a cheeky ale.

Large Shower
Stepping inside, the Traveller Destination Track 17 enjoys cohesive flow backed by precise CAD-driven manufacturing in a choice of four palettes. The carbon-coloured lockers and dove grey cabinetry, smokey grey upholstery, matt black tapware, uber cool subway splashback combined with timber-like benchtops, tables and floors deliver a warm casual chic, accentuated by the delicate perimeter lighting on the roof line and above the kitchen. That’s opposite a long table and a panelled bench seat for decent feasts.
Smart linework, a 2m+ ceiling height and pleasing blended light open up this space; forgoing armrests on the lounge also helps. This all allows for a north-south bed at one end and a generous ensuite with separate 950x950mm shower within a nimble 17ft footprint, with the optional washing machine slotting in nicely.
Scalable Solar
Off-grid, the Traveller Destination Track 17 runs a decent 270Ah lithium battery bank and 400W solar (up from 135Ah/200W on the Cruise) with the gas grille and four hob cooktop (three gas) lightening the load at camp. What’s more, you can expand the array with your own portable panels. Traveller’s running a Projecta system here, offering a well matched 30A of mains charging and Bluetooth capability plus monitoring on the tanks.
Two 110L freshwater tanks and a 110L grey water tank boost touring flexibility in the Track, up from a single 110L water tank on the Cruise. The 200L Dometic two-way fridge-freezer keeps you at camp a little longer. While Tracmax LT245 all terrains fitted to all Traveller Destination models help to get you there.
Exciting times indeed, pampered adventures could be closer than you know.
