Legend Caravans has just launched its largest hybrid yet, the new Legend Trackline 17ft 6in, an off-road model packed with features. By turning one of its most popular customisations into a standard layout, the brand has created manufacturing efficiencies that saves buyers more than $20,000.
Spacious Interior and Smart Layout Design
The new Trackline 17ft 6in is now the largest in Legend’s hybrid series, teasing campsite chefs with a 150mm gain in benchtop space compared to similar size layouts in Legend’s range. Moreover, vanners will also enjoy a spacious L-shape microfibre leather lounge in an easy tow footprint-without additional set up at camp.
Despite all these gains mid-ship, the Legend Trackline 17ft 6in retains a caravan queen-size bed up front that’s accessible on three sides, and a wall-to-wall ensuite with a separate shower and toilet towards the rear. That’s thanks to clever curves and angles on the kitchen and bathroom benches, a tough yet lightweight drawer system and a discreet cabinetry profile that saves on space.
Interior Aesthetics and Premium Finishes
Indoors, on the displayed model, Legend embraces a bold aesthetic with a striking geometric print on the splashback and a sink sunken into the chamfered marble-like benches. Generous microfibre leather trims and upholstery feel grand beneath the 1.97cm ceiling.
Timber-Free Body reinforced with new Exoskeleton Construction
It looks as stunning outdoors, with gold-coloured aluminium panels and a reinforced textured steel skirt encasing the timber-free body and alloy frame. Toggled bug lighting provides campers a comfortable place to kick back alongside the external kitchen that comes standard with the Trackline. As a boutique manufacturer, Legend adopts agile manufacturing principles between official model releases, embracing trends incrementally.
Legend’s new reinforced exoskeleton and mouldings debuting on the Trackline 17ft 6in, for example, will roll out across the entire range ahead of a major release at the end of the year. The Trackline 17ft 6in is also fully off-road with coil-sprung independent trailing arm suspension and an articulating DO35 coupling up front. It is now also available in three power tiers, supporting weekend stays off-grid to a comprehensive eRV supporting state-of-the-art appliances like the latest generation of energy efficient air-conditioners.
