The Kokoda Counterstrike Vincere truly sets new benchmarks for off-grid caravanning, proving itself to be the family flagship that redefines expectations. Michael Richards, General Manager of Operations, suggests that around 30 innovations found in this newly-released luxury off-grid caravan, launched at the Victorian Supershow, will be integrated across other Kokoda models in the coming years. This mirrors the way features like XCORE panel construction, the walk-in robe, and the laundry chute from the original Counterstrike (released in 2022) have been adopted across the range.

Power independence is significantly elevated with a three-tiered 7.3kW solar array mounted atop dual-sided hard awnings, complemented by a silent 8kW in-house developed generator. However, the standout innovation has to be the reverse osmosis grey water recycling system, which produces an impressive 1500L of instantaneous hot and cold water per cycle. This system, combined with a 150L freshwater tank and an 110L grey tank, promises sustained off-grid living with excellent towing ease.

Kokoda dedicated 18 months to refining the Counterstrike Vincere, collaborating with both in-house, local, and global designers to perfect the aesthetic of this 23ft family van. The interior boasts exquisite curved Corian stone benchtops, meticulously cut by a French artisan employed by Kokoda, serving the portable induction cookers. Other luxurious touches include wall lights, a grand ceiling-to-floor shower screen that opaques at the touch of a button, and beautiful soft lighting integrated within SoundSheild acoustic panels, all elevating the overall look and feel. These features provide a grand setting for the full king-size reclining massage bed.

Setting up camp has never been easier, thanks to the 360° camera system, the Black Jack Trailer Jack automated jockey wheel, and horizon-controlled airbags that effortlessly level the van. Inside, you’ll find a Sony surround sound cinema and projector, along with ducted 5kW cooling and heating with
adjustable vents.

An 80L slide-out fridge freezer complements the internal 274L fridge, ensuring ample storage for all your provisions.
Seamless Integration with EV Tow Vehicles
The Vincere marks a significant leap forward in power management for Kokoda. The 7.3kW solar array replenishes a 20kW battery system (scalable to 30kW) featuring Victron appliances and Baintech batteries. Kokoda has developed a sophisticated solar management system that can even feed power back into an EV tow vehicle. This system also works with a 10kW inverter, allowing multiple high-powered appliances to operate simultaneously. Campers can access the full solar array at camp with fore and aft awning extensions, or partially on the road without compromising the performance of the exposed panels.
Smart Weight Reduction for Optimal Performance
To offset the additional 400+ kilos from this advanced power system, Kokoda focused on weight efficiencies elsewhere in the Vincere. This includes a saving of 150 kilos from the newly designed truss chassis, working in conjunction with 38mm one-piece composite construction and the innovative
water system.
