18’6 Paramount Thunder Pop Top

The Paramount Thunder is our full ensuite pop top. Many manufacturers today cannot see the benefits in making pop tops due to the extra work required, however not everyone can simply store their caravans at home. The main reason to purchase a pop top is the limited storage height you have at home in your carport or garage. Why store the van off site with all the inconvenience, when you have the suitable storage at home? This is where the Thunder comes in! The Paramount Thunder comes in 4 layouts with Café or L-shape seating, Ensuites with or without washing machines & single or Queen beds depending on sleeping needs.

As you walk in the 18’6 Thunder you have the main bedroom to your left. This is fitted with a Queen lift up bed, robes with port holes and plenty of storage under the bed. Some of this is taken up by the under-bunk air conditioner to keep the air conditioner off the roof and in turn lower the height and reduce the weight.

Looking down the caravan we have a huge L-shape lounge that also converts into an additional bed. This can cater for unannounced guests or the beautiful little grandchildren. Opposite we have the kitchen with recessed cook top, large pot drawer, stainless sink, rangehood & window. Next to the kitchen we have a 175 litre 3-way fridge with a separate freezer compartment. More than enough room to store all the food.

The best feature of this van is the well thought out sliding door to save on space when entering the Ensuite area. The recessed washing machine provides convenience while achieving plenty of bench space when not in use. The toiletry cabinet is tucked in behind shaving mirrors, so no space is wasted. The linen press with drawer next to the toilet, ensures your spare towels & bedding have a place to stay.
